Mexican director and playwright with great international acclaim. He is founder and director of the interdisciplinary company Teatro de Ciertos Habitantes, a benchmark of Latin American avant-garde theatre. In addition, he has directed opera and large-format spectacles. His work has been successfully staged in more than 200 cities in the five continents. He has received multiple awards and great praise from critics around the world.

He is constantly invited as a teacher, lecturer and jury, as an expert in interdisciplinary creation and stage research processes, nationally and internationally. Currently a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Artes (National System for Arts Creators). The journal Líderes Mexicanos has named his as one of the 300 most influential leaders in Mexico. He has been recently awarded with the Medalla al Mérito en las Artes (Medal of Merit in the Arts) in Mexico City.
